"SOUL SACRIFICE"

 

 

May 10th was the big day! It was the day of the official announcement of Soul Sacrifice.

 

I got up early to go buy a copy of the weekly Famitsu that featured the debut of Soul Sacrifice.

 

It was a very touching moment to see the title on the cover of the magazine.

 

 

We arrived at the event venue in the morning for the run through and final rehearsals.

 

The show was very well prepared, and the stage effects were very “dark fantasy” like, and very cool.

 

We were all so excited to show the game title to the fans for the first time!

 

 

The stage effects consisted of well-designed lighting, and heavy thunder sound effects.

 

It’s funny, but on important days, like when we have a big announcement to make, Inafune tends to bring rain.

 

And again, just at the start of this event, Inafune called the thunderstorm,

 

 

and so there was thunder effect outside and inside of the venue!

 

 

Anyway, the presentation went very well. Both the trailer movie and the demo was very well received by the people who saw Soul Sacrifice for the first time.

 

Many people were excited about the title, and told us how impressed they were with the quality at this stage.

 

After the wonderful event, the SCE staff were very kind and they threw a surprise birthday party for Inafune.

 

 

The birthday cake was topped with the design of the monster, Harpy.

 

 

So it was the HARPY BIRTHDAY CAKE!
